Prerequisite Technology Skills Required for
Successful Completion of Assignments and Activities
in Block III

Note: The skills listed below are entry level skills for Block III of the Teacher Education Program. Students who identify skills they need to learn or refine should consider one of the following options:

1)   Enroll in one of the computer courses offered by the University or College designed to develop those skills. See http://webs.wichita.edu/depttools/user_home/?view=coetech&page=/classes/classes_home for a list of available courses.

2)   See additional help through online tutorials.  See http://webs.wichita.edu/depttools/user_home/?view=coetech&page=/helpdesk/tutorials

3)   Attend a mini-workshop led by COE Tech staff. Instructors can schedule short workshops with Tech Staff to meet their students’ needs. Notify your instructor if you would be interested in attending a one hour workshop on a specific topic.

If you have not already set your pin number with Shocker One Stop, please go to http://www.wichita.edu. Scroll down to find and select the Shocker One Stop icon on the left of the WSU home page window. Follow the instructions carefully to set your pin number. You will be able to access student information and log on Blackboard courses once you have established your pin number.
