H.E.L.P.ers Take the Lead at Tech Conference

H.E.L.P. topics and participants were front and center at a state technology conference, providing 8 of the 10 presentations of the handheld computing strand. The handheld strand was a debut for the Mid-America Association for Computers in Education (MACE), and H.E.L.P.ers took pride in helping make it a success.

The popularity of the strand came as a pleasant surprise to the conference organizers. It was "a huge success within the MACE conference. Many participants approached me and expressed their appreciation for the sessions and the presenters," said MACE president Eldon Chlumsky. A more obvious indication of the interest the topics generated was the lack of seating room at nearly every presentation.
